About
Diyi does one thing: turn structural steel drawings into a bill of materials where every number states where it came from.
What we don't do
- No general-purpose drawing recognition. Structural steel only.
- No "one click, use as-is". Takeoff output must be reviewed; what we do is make that review feasible —
from checking 142 rows down to checking 3.
- No hand-written rules for how the model should read a drawing. We tried; whole classes of members went missing.
How it works
The model decides for itself what to render and at what zoom, whether to read the schedule first or the plan, whether to write a script to pick out column tags by colour. We take care of three things:
- A clean environment — every job runs in a sandbox; one account's job cannot reach another's files.
- A full record — every round of reasoning, every command, its output and every crop it looked at is kept and replayable.
When a number looks wrong, you can go back to the exact crop it came from.
- Settlement per round — usage is charged as the job runs, not back-filled at the end. If the balance can't cover the next
step the job saves itself and pauses; after a top-up it resumes where it stopped, nothing is burned.
What you get
Every job produces files you can use straight away:
